i have now realized

that waking up at 6:30 am on a saturday to run five miles gives you superhuman powers. witness what i did with the rest of the day, after returning from the run:

-showered (this counts)
-made eggs (with hot sauce!)
-ran errands and drank my crack, starbucks iced coffee, two of them
-watched dark prince: the true story of dracula (and also sort of vlad the impaler, except it was really just more the sort of vague inaccurate history of vlad the impaler, and oh yeah, he turns into a vampire in the last five minutes cause he got excommunicated, wait, what?) for TWO HOURS with kriston and spencer. okay, so this dude plays vlad/dracula in the movie. he also played dracula in that one awesome episode of buffy the vampire slayer where xander falls in love with him. COULD THIS DUDE EVER PLAY ANYTHING ELSE EXCEPT DRACULA EVER? the answer is NO, because look at him! woah, he's kind of hot, though. also his name is rudolf! and, also, guess what his next role is? A GUY ON MOONLIGHT ALONGSIDE JASON DOHRING WHICH IS A SHOW ABOUT VAMPIRES!it must be nice to be an actor and know you're always secure in that vampire space. no doubt no one else in hollywood can play a vampire as well. or as constantly. his destiny was foretold at birth (much like vlad's): he would be a vampire actor. forever.
-drink lots of mimosas during vlad/dracula show.
-go to dollar store to buy giftwrap. get lesson in henna application from dollar store lady and crazy corner homeless dude, who hangs out in there.
-go to bridal shower. my first one! drink and eat epic amounts.
-leave bridal shower with the ladies and go to bar.
-leave bridal shower ladies at said bar, and go to another bar, to have farewell drinks for pete and jeremy. sniff.
-witness as boys almost get in barfight at the raven. promise to apply cockpunches everywhere if it comes down to it.
-sadly not tired at 2am so come home and blog it all.
