best morning ever
as i was struggling to get off the bus this morning with all my bags, i saw that m. was calling me. jeez, what's he doing, it must be 3am out in hawaii, i thought. i couldn't answer the phone before i got off the bus, and so i dragged my stuff to my building and stood outside while i checked his voicemail.
except it wasn't him. it was A VOICEMAIL FROM KRISTEN BELL. THE BEST, MOST HILARIOUS VOICEMAIL EVER THAT I'VE ONLY LISTENED TO, OH, 33 TIMES IN THE LAST HALF AN HOUR.
i called m. back immediately and just basically started squealing incoherently. we chatted some then i asked sheepishly if kristen bell was still around. he asked around, but it turned out she'd gone into makeup (they were doing night shoots). so we chatted some more, but then, five minutes later, i hear some shuffling, and I'M ON THE FUCKING PHONE WITH KRISTEN BELL.
we talked for a few minutes, and i don't really remember what happened, except i'm mostly sure i didn't make an idiot of myself, but OMG. BEST PHONE CALL EVER. it almost (ALMOST) redeems the fact that paul rudd and edward norton are hanging around on set, and that, according to m., kristen bell is "really hilarious and awesome." of course she is! she's my best friend now!

That was, indeed, the best voicemail of all time. I played it for anyone that would listen this weekend, and plan to continue doing so for the rest of the foreseeable future.
