vlogs

i don't know why, but, unlike nick, i really kind of like vlogging. it's fun, and voyeuristic, and more spontaneous, and i like seeing how my favorite online people act. but i suspect there is a divide wider than the facebook one about if vlogging (and its despicable name) is any good or not. what say you?

in other on-camera news, i could have been on local news this morning! if only the reasonably-so concerned producer hadn't cared about the fact that my monday AM flight could be delayed and i wouldn't be able to make it to the studio time. in fact, it turned out she was right—just as we were about to land we went back up into a holding pattern for 20 minutes or so, because the pilot said there was "VIP activity" on the runways and we were being asked to delay our landing. what VIP activity could that have been? congressmen? celebrity? does national have private jets?

UPDATE: yglesias vlogs some points. and he cites me by name. OMG FAMOUS. also, he just showed me how to use imovie, and if i ever think of anything remotely interesting to say, ever, i'll vlog away. woo!

UPDATE II: my first foray. it's pure brilliance.
